In Comic Shops This Wednesday, March 23 -- UPDATED

Hitting comic book shops this Wednesday, March 23, is my final Ninja Turtles comic. It's a story about the TMNT shrinking to battle a strange communicable form of cancer. I wrote it shortly before I finished my own cancer treatments. About a month or two before the TMNT were sold to Nickelodeon, publisher Mirage was scheduling their TMNT comics. They planned to have them all written/drawn in-house, but one of the Mirage Studios crew, Steve Murphy, in part because he was tired of the TMNT and in part to help me with my medical bills, offered to let me pitch some ideas with him to take his in-house slots. We pitched four or five ideas (including a street racing story and some others) and TMNT co-creator Peter Laird liked the "Fantastic Voyage" TMNT story. As such, he gave me the slot in the final issues of the series. It's my first TMNT comic in almost two years, and will be my last with Mirage. Obviously, I have a pretty personal connection to the story, and it was fun to write. I hope you'll check it out: Tales of the TMNT #68 in comic shops this Wednesday.

UPDATE 8:00PM 23 MARCH:  Mirage Licensing has posted a preivew of the issue on their site. You can see it here.

Canadian Magazine Interview

Not long ago, I was interviewed by Canadian magazine "C&G: Comics and Gaming Monthly" about Ender, Supergirl, etc. There's even a mention on the cover. :-) You can order it here. I'm pretty sure non-Canadians can get it, but I suppose it's possible that it's a Canadian exclusive.

Here is a link to an interview I did with Matt Price of the Oaklahoman newspaper. We talk about Ender, Supergirl, Batman, my family, and cancer. Kind of a little catch all.

New "Chaotic" Book Cover Art

Even though my final episode of Chaotic has aired, my involvement with the property isn't quite over. I wrote a couple of kids books for the show. One, a leveled reader, can be ordered here. The other is an encyclopedic volume detailing all the characters, episodes, locations, etc. from the world of Chaotic. It can be preordered here. I just saw the cover art (above) for the first time today.
